ESTEEN BELL GRIFFIN

RALEIGH--Esteen Bell Griffin, 100, of Raleigh, died Sunday morning, Nov. 15, 2020. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at Historic Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh, with Dr. Randy McKinney officiating.

She was the daughter of the late William and Mamie Baker Bell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac A. Griffin Sr.; two sisters: Elieen Goswick and Evelyn Perry; and four brothers, Cleveland, Donnie, Finner and Billy.

Surviving: two special nephews, Ronnie Goswick (Lisa) and Kenny Goswick, and a special niece, Betty Jo Goswick, in addition to several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Griffin will lie in state at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg on Wednesday, November 18, from 1 - 5 p.m. for those wishing to sign the register and pay their respects.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Longview Baptist Church, 2308 N. New Hope Road, Raleigh, NC 27604.
