MILDRED S. "BONNIE" STRICKLAND

Mildred S. "Bonnie" Strickland, 69, of Zebulon passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at her home. She was born December 1, 1951 in Wake County to the late Carey Delmas Strickland and Ethel Bennett Strickland. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Carey Strickland, a nephew, Martin Strickland and a brother-in-law, Mike Brooks.

She was a graduate of UNC Greensboro and was an Educator with Wake Medical Center for 29 years. She loved reading, family and her pet, Little Pup.

She is survived by a brother, Tommy Strickland and wife Janice, two sisters, Nancy Brooks and Martha Roberts and husband Alvin, nieces, Jill Hicks and husband David, Kelly Strickland and husband Per and April Strickland, nephews, Buddy Miles and Blake Strickland, seven great nephews and four great nieces.

The family will be receiving visitors at the home of Nancy Brooks. There will be a private service for the family.

Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest is serving the family.
