ZEBULON, NC -- Raymond Rudell Alford, Jr., age 94, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at his home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Popular Springs Baptist Church. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 1 to 1:45 p.m. Internment will follow at Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Michael Lawing will officiate the service.

Alford is survived by his wife, Mary Hazel Farmer Alford of the home; two sons; Raydell Alford and wife Chara Lene and Mark Alford; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
