ARNETTA CRUDUP JONES

FRANKLINTON, NC--Arnetta Crudup Jones, 83, Franklinton, died June 2, 2021. Born February 1, 1938 in Franklinton, NC, she was daughter of the late Theodore Blacknall and Julia Lee Crudup Kelly.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. Jones Sr.; parents; one son, Ronald J. Crudup, and one brother, Christopher E. Crudup.

Survivors: four daughters, Janet Crudup, Lisa Crudup, and Angela Crudup-Perry (Michael) all of Franklinton, NC and Vanessa Crudup of Raleigh, NC; five sons, Larry Crudup (Mildred) of Rolesville, NC, Stanley Crudup of Franklinton, NC, Dexter Crudup (Diane) of Rocky Mount, NC, Christopher L. Crudup of Kittrell, NC, and Clarence E. Jones, Jr., of Raleigh, NC; two sisters, Catherine Williams of Franklinton, NC and Brenda Kearney of Newport News, VA; one brother, Curtis Kelly (Johnnie Mae) of Youngsville, NC; one sister-in-law, Alice Strickland of Knightdale, NC; two brothers-in-law, Jimmie Lee Jones of Youngsville, NC and Darfield "Bebo" Jones of Pilot, NC; twenty three grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; and other friends and relatives.

Viewing will be at Cutchins Family Mortuary & Cremations, Friday, June 11, 5 to 7 p.m. A graveside service will be Saturday, June 12 at Popes Chapel United Church of Christ, at 2 p.m. with burial in church cemetery.
