LOUISBURG, NC--Funeral services for Catherine Woodard, age 97, who died on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 12 p.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Haywood Church Cemetery.
She is survived by six daughters, Betty Baker (Wayne) of Louisburg, NC, Peggy Baker of the home, Barbara Woodard of Louisburg, NC, Doris Woodard of the home, Evelyn Christine Woodard of Raleigh, NC, Ruth Hines of Greensboro, NC; five sons, Eddie Lee Woodard (Edith), David Woodard (Mattie), and John Plummer Woodard (Helen), all of Louisburg, NC, Clarence Woodard of Oxford, NC, Joseph Woodard of Louisburg, NC; 38 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5 until 6 p.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
