JULIA G. COLLINS

LOUISBURG, NC -- Julia G. Collins, 71, of Henderson, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 in Henderson. She was born in Granville County on July 7, 1950 a daughter of the late Alfred and Ruth (Critcher) Glasscock. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Brian Lane Nance, her siblings: Al Glasscock, Mildred Yarborough and Marie Lankford.

Julia is survived by her husband of 27 years, Braxton Collins; her children: Sherry Nance (Anthony Wells), and Joseph Nance (Kelly); eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings: Dolly Riley (Thomas) Gloria Daniels (Ben), Florence Blackwell (Donald) and Richard Glasscock (Wanda) and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2021 at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Louisburg.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Corinth Baptist Church Good Samaritan Program.
