Rudolph G. Bunn, 87, of Zebulon, died September 1, 2021 surrounded by his loving family after a period of declining health.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Riley and Roxie Watkins Bunn; sisters, Penina Edwards and Stella Johnson; brothers, Walter Bunn, Edwin Bunn, Johnnie Mayes, Troy Mayes, Bertis Bunn and James Bunn.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Frances Pearce Bunn; daughter Diana Bunn and son Donnie Bunn.
A graveside service was held 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 4, at the Bunn family cemetery 8832 Fowler Rd., Zebulon. There was no visitation other than at the service; he laid in state at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory in Louisburg, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m on Friday, Sept. 3.
