CHARLES L. PATTERSON

FRANKLINTON, NC -- Charles Lee Patterson, 81, of Franklinton, NC, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at his home.

Born in Warran County, he was the son of the late Atha T. Patterson, and Lucy Dickerson Patterson. He was the widower of Jeanette Kearney Patterson.

Surviving is one daughter, Scarlet Patterson Moore; two sons, Curtis Patterson, and Chris Patterson; three sisters, Ann P. Denton (Banks), Geraldine Matthews (Danny), and Joyce Batton; six brothers, Jimmy Patterson, J.W. Patterson, Shelton Patterson, David Patterson, and Robert Patterson; and four grandchildren, Ryan Moore, Kristin Moore, Jason Patterson and Megan Patterson. Alongside his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Patterson; and six brothers, Vance Patterson, Perry Patterson, William Patterson, Joe Patterson, Larry Patterson and Bruce Patterson.

A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, May 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton, NC. Conducted by the Rev. Ryan Ellington.
