Grady Lee Peace

FRANKLINTON, NC-- Grady Lee Peace, 73, of Franklinton passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022. He was born December 23, 1948 in Granville County, NC to the late Lee Warren Peace and Virginia Dare Watson Peace. His son, Robert Lee Peace also preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 11 a.m.. at Bright Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 - 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Peace was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a Corrections Officer and retired from Bunn Correctional Facility.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Peace, son, Kenneth Bryant Peace and wife Misty, daughter, Connie Dare Horrell and husband Nelson, a step-daughter, Gayla Lassiter and husband Kevin, a sister, Faye Mitchell, grandchildren, Brandon Robert Peace, Cody Lawrence Peace, Cassie Alexandra Peace, Carrie LaDare Horrell, Katie Lynne Horrell, Amber Leigh Sarrver and Neil Caleb Lassiter, great grandchildren, Jackson Cody Peace and Landen Sarrver and nieces, Kristie and Tina.

Bright Funeral Home is serving the Peace family.
