"RANDY" RANDALL C. GRIFFIN
April 2, 1948 - June 11, 2022

CASTALIA, NC-- Randall Collins Griffin, 74, of the White Level Community, died Saturday evening, June 11, 2022 at his home.

Randy was a son of the late Hallie and Melvie Collins Griffin. He was preceded in death by his twin sisters Barbara Faye and Karen Kay Griffin, sister, Joanne G. Tharrington and his brothers, Harold Griffin and Danny Griffin.

Randy was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked for Nash County Schools as an HVAC technician. After retirement he enjoyed working in his shop and watching and feeding the birds. One of his favorite things to do was watching his grandchildren dance and play in his living room.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022 in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Randy is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Faye Griffin; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Angel Griffin of the White Level Community; grandchildren, Ella, Shelby, Mollie and Kolby; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Charlie Dickens of Raleigh; Doris and Tommy Thompson of the White Level Community; Hope and Randolph Lewis of Red Oak; brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Peggy Griffin of Rocky Mount; sister-in-law, Marlene Griffin of the White Level Community; brother-in-law, James Tharrington of the Red Bud Community and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Poplar Spring Baptist Church, 89 Brantleytown Rd. Zebulon, NC 27597.
