Rosalee Allen Wells

WAKE FOREST, NC--Rosalee Allen Wells, age 95, of Wake Forest, NC, formerly, Youngsville, NC, died December 17, 2022.

Rosalee was born on May 10, 1927, in Franklinton, NC to Clyde Allen, Sr. and Molly Mariah Murray Allen.

Rosalee was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert Grey Wells; her son, Joseph Allen Wells; her sister Catherine Allen Hayes; and her brother Clyde Allen, Jr.

Rosalee is survived by her daughter Catherine McLean and her husband, Ronnie of Wilmington; her son Eugene Wells and his wife Marsha of Elm City; daughter Kimberly Carr and her husband Rob of High Point; her son Phil Wells of Wilmington; her daughter-in-law Debbie Wells of Knoxville, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Her funeral will be held Friday, December 23, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. at Woodland Baptist Church, 190 Woodland Church Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587, with Reverend Chris Walker officiating. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the funeral service, beginning at 1 p.m.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to her home church, Woodland Baptist Church, or her son Eugene's church, Elm City Baptist Church.
