Mary Perry Strickland

Louisburg, NC--Funeral services for Mary Perry Strickland, age 77, who died on Friday, March 10, 2023, will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, March 18, from the Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Louisburg with Pastor Timothy Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Church Cemetery.

Born July 28, 1945, she is survived by two daughters, Tammy Saunders of Greenville, NC, Cynthia Richardson (LaMonte) of Charlotte, NC; four sons, Thomas Strickland of Louisburg, NC, Pastor Reginald Strickland (Tandra) of Knightdale, NC, Mark Strickland (Karen) of Winterville, NC, Marvin Strickland (Renee) of Wake Forest, NC; eight sisters, Rose Perry of New York, NY, Betty Lois Edgerton-Wilder (James) of Philadelphia, PA, Celeste Clifton (Freddie) of St. Mary, GA, Mary Louise Mosley and Katie Arrington, both of Louisburg, NC, Brenda Ferrell (Raymond) of Franklinton, NC, Mary Johnson and Pamela Freeman, both of Louisburg, NC; four brothers, Larry Perry of Raleigh, NC, Judge Johnson (Mary), Larry Johnson and Willie James Johnson, all of Louisburg, NC; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 5-6 p.m., Friday at Richardson Funeral Home.
