ZEBULON, NC--Joseph Stanley "Stan" Ray of Zebulon died Friday afternoon April 7, 2023 at his residence.
Stan was preceded in death by his wife Dianne Ray, parents Joe and Maxine Ray, sister Starr Ray Hamilton, and sister-in-law Bonita Ray.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Ray, son K.C. Ray (Jennifer), daughter Trisha Dixon (Brad), brother Greg Ray, stepson Austin Marshall, stepdaughter Taylor Marshall, two grandsons; two step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren, nephews and nieces
Graveside funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday April 15, at Pearce Baptist Church Cemetery, 4634 Pearces Rd, Zebulon, NC 27597, with Rev. Mark Cottrell officiating
The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m., Saturday prior to the graveside service in the church fellowship hall and at other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Pilot Fire Department, in honor of "Stan," 8028 NC-39, Zebulon, NC 27597.
