Englewood, NJ -- Ms. Hattie B. Clanton, formerly of Louisburg, NC passed away July 24, 2023 in Hackensack Hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., August 3, 2023 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Englewood, NJ. Wake is 6 - 8 p.m., August 2, 2023, same location.

Survivors: daughter Johnnie Mae Ray (Kevin); granddaughter Tahneshia Forrest (Jason); grandson Kevin (Diera); two great grandsons and one great grand daughter; brother Gordon Clanton (Bessie); sisters Patricia Hughes (Jacob), Dorothy Parker, Clara Beasley (John), Mary Green and Alice Clanton. Sister-in-law Marie Clanton; one aunt Harriet Thornes; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
