BUNN, NC -- Vinette McGhee Mitchell, 91, of Bunn, died at her daughter's home on August 11, 2023.
Born July 15, 1932, Vinette was preceded in death by an infant son, Edward Leamon Mitchell, her husband of 68 years, Luther Glenn Mitchell and her brother, Robert "Mac" McGhee.
She is survived by her three children; Mary Mitchell of Youngsville, Howard Mitchell and his wife Cindy, of Youngsville and Sharon Blevins of Bunn; sister, Peggy Ion; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren,
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 15, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
