ZEBULON - Lucy Pearl Perry George, 88, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 at Hillside Nursing Center. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 9, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest, with Dr. Mike Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Beulah Christian Church cemetery.
She was born in Wake County, daughter of the late Ida Barham Perry and Branch Perry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Parker George; son, Procter “Billy Buck” George; and daughter, Mable Ann Pearce.
Surviving: four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
