GREENSBORO, NC -- Funeral services for Flora Kingsberry Alston, age 81, formerly of Kittrell, who died on October 16, 2023, were held at 1 p.m., Monday, Oct. 23, from the Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg with Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial followed in the Kingsberry Family Cemetery.

Born Oct. 16, 1942, she is survived by two daughters, Sherbia Perry (Tommie) of Pleasant Garden, NC, Cecilia Alston of Kittrell, NC; one stepson, Lamont Parker (Brenda) of Delaware; one sister, Harriett Sawyer of Kittrell, NC; one brother, Cleo Kingsberry, Jr. (Dorine) of Henderson, NC; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Viewing was Sunday from 4 - 5 p.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel.
