Berlie L. Perry

FRANKLINTON - Berlie Lee Perry, 81, of Franklinton, died on Jan. 1 at his home.

He was born on April 6, 1942 in Granville County to the late Leroy and Carrie Perry.

Berlie was preceded in death by six siblings: Lonnie Burrell, Elbert, Frank, Melvin, Jimmy, and Peter Perry.

Berlie is survived by his companion, Isabelle Thorpe of the home; three brothers, Samuel Perry of Franklinton, John Earl Perry of Creedmoor and Robert Perry of Zebulon; one sister-in-law, Alice Perry of Oxford; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Perry will be Saturday, Jan. 6 at 2 p.m. at Kinches Chapel Christian Church with the Rev. Eddie Williams Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
