HAROLD ELMER REED
HINTON, W. Va. - Harold Elmer Reed, 78, of Hinton, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007, following a long illness.

Born October 5, 1929 in Summers Co., he was the son of the late Lonza L and Nina S. Deeds Reed.

Harold served his country proudly in the United States Air Force from 1951 until 1959 during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a meat cutter for most of his life. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church at Nimitz. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Survived locally by a daughter Heather Reed of Franklinton, NC, and three grandchildren, David, Brandi and Joshua Frederickson of Franklinton, NC.

Funeral services were held Tuesday October 16, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor William R. Ballengee officiating. Burial followed in the Reed Family Cemetery on Madam’s Creek. Friends called at the funeral parlors from 6-8 P.M. on Monday.

Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
