LOUISBURG, NC - Faye Elaine Hudson Cardwell, 89, of Louisburg, died Tuesday evening, January 30, 2024 at her home.
She was born September 1, 1934 to the late Mollie Glendora Bennett Hudson and Charlie Brantley Hudson and was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, E. Ray Cardwell; daughter, Star Cardwell Abbott and her brother, Charlie B. Hudson, Jr.
Funeral services will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be private at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
Faye is survived by her two daughters, Penny Strickland (Al), Elaine Cardwell; son, E. Brent Cardwell. She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
