FRANKLINTON, NC -- Funeral services for Rodrick "Hot Rod" Cooper, age 45, who died on Friday, February 2, 2024, will be held on Saturday, February 10, at 11 a.m. from the Mitchner's Grove Baptist Church in Franklinton with Minister Florence Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mark's Chapel Church Cemetery in Rocky Mount.
Born April 17, 1978, he is survived by his wife, Allison Cooper of the home; three sons, Rontrell Wilkins of Spring Hope, NC, Nicholson "Nick" Cooper of Kenly, NC, Zahir Cooper of the home; two daughters, Shamiya Perry of Franklinton, Jada Williams of Durham, NC; his parents, Roy and Costella Cooper of Nashville, NC; one sister, Carla Greene (Aaron) of Zebulon, NC; one brother, Reggie Cooper of Dunn, NC; and one granddaughter.
Viewing is Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Mitchner's Grove Baptist Church.
