THOMAS "TOM" STRICKLAND, JR.

CASTALIA, NC -- Funeral services for Thomas "Tom" Strickland, Jr., age 60, who died Thursday, February 22, 2024, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024 from the Red Budd Holy Church in Rocky Mount with Bishop Warren C. Lynch officiating. Burial will follow in the William Morris Cemetery.

Born Nov. 4, 1963, he is survived by his wife, Janice Strickland of the home; three daughters, Camille Smith (Quinton) of Nashville, NC, Erica Brewton of Lexington, KY, Sierra Marshman of Spring Hope, NC; three sons, Brandon Arrington of Ankara, Turkey, Altereek Brewton of Elizabeth, NJ, Gregory Brewton of Charlotte, NC; his mother, Tassie Strickland of Castalia, NC; four sisters, Dorothy Crews of Louisburg, NC, Eloise Strickland-Bey and Maggie Strickland, both of Castalia, NC, Roxane Dickens (David) of Rocky Mount, NC; four brothers, Larry Strickland (Charlene) and Charles Strickland, both of Castalia, NC, Ronnie Strickland of Spring Hope, NC, Billy Strickland (Diane) of Rocky Mount, NC; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

There will be a viewing Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Red Budd Holy Church.
