Louisburg, NC--Funeral services for Dorothy "Dot" Davis, age 82 who died on Saturday, April 13, 2024, will be held on Friday, April 19, at 12 p.m. from the First Baptist Church in Louisburg with Minister Russell Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Street Cemetery.
Born May 6, 1941, she is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Newell (John) of Louisburg, NC, Joyce "Lady Bug" Henderson of Hollister, NC; three sons, Ronnie Brodie of Snow Hill, NC, John "Parchie" Davis, Jr., Larry Davis (Belinda); and one sister, Annie Bell Perry, all of Louisburg, NC; one brother, Bennie Goodman Brodie of Rochester, NY; fourteen grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
