Franklinton, NC-- Funeral services for Pauline Carter Burk, age 93, who died on Sunday, May 26, 2024, will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, June 2, from the Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg with Rev. Gwendolyn Starr officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Chapel Church Cemetery.
Born April 18, 1931, she is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Cooke (Sylvester) of Louisburg, NC; three sons, Charlie Burk ( Jearlean) of Wake Forest, NC, James Burk of Franklinton, NC, Tommy Burk (Angela) of Youngsville, NC; three sisters, Marie Wardrick of Washington, DC, Mattie Lewis of Culpepper, VA, Gladys Lee of Raleigh, NC; eleven grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and sixteen great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 6 - 7 p.m., Saturday at Richardson Funeral Home.
