Henderson, NC -- Linda Kay Edwards Hickox, 76, of Henderson, died Tuesday morning, October 29, 2024.

Born November 14, 1947, she is survived by her son, Dustin Hickox (Tana and Ava); one granddaughter; one great-grandson; her sisters, Bobbie Wrenn and Sandi Fleming; her sister-in-law, Shirley Edwards; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Nathan M. and Alethea C. Edwards, her brother, Douglas Edwards, and a number of nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held on Kay's birthday, at 11 a.m., Thursday, November 14, at the Rock Spring Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 34 Rock Springs Church Road (off NC 39 Hwy.), Louisburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church building fund.
