Survivors: two sons, Tre'Veon Jermaine Penny of Franklinton, NC and Sir'Darius Marlo Thorpe of Greensboro, NC; his parents, Marvin and Sheila Blacknall of the home in Youngsville, NC; one sister, Freda Wright (Victor) of Youngsville, NC; one brother, Marvin Blacknall (Megan) of Fayetteville, NC; grandmother, Louise Thorpe of Creedmoor, NC; one aunt; uncles, nephews, nieces, and many cousins. relatives, and friends.
Graveside service was Friday, May 9, at 1 p.m. at Hawkins Chapel MBC in Franklinton, NC. Dr. Kenneth Williams, pastor, Rev. Jeanette Pender-Powell, officiated.
