LOUISBURG, NC -- James "Jim Bob" Harris, 68, of the Margaret community, died Saturday morning, June 7, 2025 at his home. He was born April 7, 1957, and raised in Wayne County.
James was the son of John F. Harris Jr. and Johnsy B. Harris. He was preceded in death by his mother.
The family received friends Wednesday evening, June 11, 2025 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home.
James is survived by his wife of 40 years, Tammy G. Harris; daughter, Jamie Harris; father, John F. Harris Jr; brother, John F. Harris III and Lisa Rhea, all of Louisburg; sister, Frances Wilder and husband Ryon, of Raleigh; and several nieces and nephews.
