Louisburg, NC -- Mary Delores Evans, 72, of Louisburg, died Monday afternoon, July 21, 2025, at Maria Parham Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born July 7, 1953, Delores was the daughter of the late Alvin Everette Evans and Christine Lois Gilliam Evans. She was preceded in death by her brother, Linville Evans.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Delores is survived by her brothers, Lewis Evans and wife Joyce of Louisburg, Sherwood Evans and wife Donna of Louisburg, and Phillip Evans and wife Doris of Midland; sister-in-law Beverley Evans; lifelong friend, Matt David Nelson; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Delores' name can be made to the White Level Fire Department, 2465 White Level Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549; or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
