YOUNGSVILLE, NC -- Phillip Bland Edwards, 73, of Youngsville, died August 18, 2025.

Born March 18, 1952, He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ava Susan Edwards; children, Stephen Edwards (Christy) and Katie Gunter (Kiel); and five grandchildren, He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Rachel Edwards, and his brother, Alex Edwards.

Visitation will be held 2 p.m., Saturday August 23, at Centerville Baptist Church, followed by funeral service at 3 pm. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. Flowers can be sent to Strickland Funeral Home in Louisburg.
