Louisburg, NC -- Viewing and services for Paul Thorne, age 70, who died on Monday, July 28, 2025, were held on Saturday, August 2, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg.
Born May 30, 1955, he is survived by his wife, Barbara Thorne of the home; two daughters, Latisha Sills of Wake Forest, NC and LaVerne Brodie Poindexter (Von) of Louisburg, NC; three sons, Paul Thorne, Jr. (Christy) of Clayton, NC, Fernando Thorne of Raleigh, NC and Andre Leon Brodie (Nicole) of McDonough, GA; his mother, Christine Alston of Franklinton, NC; one sister, Patricia Alston of Bunn, NC; twenty-seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
