Louisburg, NC -- Funeral services for Nora "Pigeon" Alston Ruffin, age 93, who died on Saturday, August 23, 2025, will be held on Saturday, August 30, at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Hebron United Holiness Church in Louisburg with Bishop Allen Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in the Cemetery on the Hill.
Born Nov. 12, 1931, she is survived by two daughters, Theresa Rodwell of Louisburg, NC, Gloria Cannady of Wake Forest, NC; one son, Alfonza Ruffin of Louisburg, NC; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 3 until 4 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home. |
