Castalia, NC -- Funeral services for Rev. John Williams, age 83, who died on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, will be held on Sunday, December 7, at 1 p.m. from the Gillfield Missionary Baptist Church in Castalia with Pastor Melvin Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Gillfield Church Cemetery.
Born March 10, 1942, he is survived by his wife, Lucy Gray Williams of the home; two sons, John Anthony Williams of Nashville, NC, Danny Ray Williams of Butner, NC; one sister Queen Esther Wiggins of Louisburg, NC; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 6 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
