Hollister, NC -- Funeral services for Curtis Richardson, age 85, who died on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, will be held on Tuesday, February 24, at 1 p.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Richardson Family Cemetery.

Born March 2, 1940, Curtis is survived by his daughter, Joy Pickett (Corey) of Raleigh, NC; two sons, Clint Richardson (Shelby) of Raleigh, NC, Alvin Richardson (Lisa) of Warrenton, NC; six sisters, Lucille Richardson Hedgepeth, Venella Richardson, and Etherlean Rudd, all of Hollister, NC, Ermajean Harrison (George) of Warrenton, NC, Maxine Hedgepeth of Rocky Mount, NC, Bernice Fraizer of Manhattan, NY; four brothers, Elliott Richardson (Paulette) and Leonard Richardson (Cecelie), both of Littleton, NC, Henry Richardson of Hollister, NC, Milton Richardson (Arlean) of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, Feb. 23 from 6 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
