Hollister, NC -- Funeral services for Lizzie Richardson Burgess, age 103, who died on Friday, June 5, 2026, will be held on Friday, June 12, at 2 p.m. from the Pine Chapel Baptist Church in Hollister, NC with Rev. Thomas Richardson, officiating. Burial will follow in the Lynch Cemetery.
Born January 9, 1923, she is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Evans of Hollister, NC; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
