FRANKLINTON, NC -- Spencer Duke "Bud" Lowery, 83, of Franklinton passed away on July 3, 2026.
Bud was born on June 25, 1943, to the late James Quincey "Quince" Lowery and Ovie Mae Davis Lowery.
He is survived by three grandsons; three great grandchildren; brother, Lynn Lowery (Liz); and sister-in-law, Sarah Lowery.
Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Mae Lowery; his daughters, Donna Gail Lowery and Susie Davis; and his brother, Donald "Bill" Lowery and sister Pat Cochran.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, July 7, at 3 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church in Youngsville with the Rev. Harold Woodlief and Thiago Bitencourt officiating. Burial followed in Good Hope Cemetery.
Visitation was 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service.
