SUE R. ADAMS
HENDERSON - Sue Robertson Adams, 87, formerly of Henderson, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 28) at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Richard Brand officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Meddie Lee Robertson and Nettie Briggs Robertson. She was the widow of George Wesley Adams Jr.

Surviving: two daughters, Susan A. Tucker (Tommy) of Clinton and Elizabeth A. Daniels of Fuquay-Varina; a sister, Lula R. Proctor of Fayetteville; brothers, Willie Robertson of Louisburg and Page Robertson of Oregon; four grandchildren; and triplet great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Hight, and a brother, M. L. Robertson.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service in the First Presbyterian Church Parlor.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 726, Henderson, NC 27536. Arrangements are by Flowers Funeral Home, Henderson.
