ALEXENA “ALEC” N. CARLYLE
ZEBULON - Alexena “Alec” Neville Carlyle, 67, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008 at Rex Healthcare. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at Pilot Baptist Church, 8103 NC 39 Highway South, Zebulon, with the Rev. Gilbert McDowell and the Rev. Kevin Byers officiating. Burial will follow in the Carlyle family cemetery, 670 Carlyle Road, Zebulon.

She was born in Wake County to the late Foster Neville and Virginia Jones Neville Carlyle. She was a retired secretary with the N. C. Department of Motor Vehicles. Surviving: husband, Clinton Reid “Clint” Carlyle; daughters, Dwanna Joy Carlyle Bullock (Tim), Clinthia Marilyn Carlyle Cowan, and Stephanie Reid Carlyle, all of Zebulon; sister, Doris N. Carlyle of Zebulon; brother, Randy Lee Carlyle of Zebulon; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight (Wednesday, Jan. 30) at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service and Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.
