JARVIS “JAY” EARL HOLLAND
YOUNGSVILLE - Jarvis “Jay” Earl Holland, 52, died Monday, June 5, 2006. Funeral services will be conducted at 5 p.m. today (Wednesday, June 7) at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. The Holland family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service.

Inurnment will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 8, at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 809 W. Gannon Avenue, Zebulon.

He was born in Wake County to Emmie Rose Denton Straughn and the late Jarvis “Buck” Valmore Holland.

Surviving: daughters, Crystal Mechelle Holland of Youngsville and Brenda Jo Fife of Hickory; son, Kenneth Luther “Buddy” Wagnon of Wake Forest; his mother, Rose Denton Straughn of Knightdale; brothers, Charles Shelton “Rudy” Holland and William Eugene “Gene” Straughn, both of Knightdale; sister, Genia Rose Straughn of Knightdale; and six grandchildren; and one great grandson.
