BUNN - Corey Wardell Mann, 29, died Thursday, July 3, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted today (Wednesday, July 9) at 1 p.m. at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, Bunn, with the Rev. Rory E. Sneed as eulogist. Burial was in the Rocky Chapel church cemetery. Born in Durham County, he was the son of Charles and Johnnie Harris Mann. He was a graduate of Bunn High School, truck driving school, and also received a degree in graphic design from the Raleigh School of Arts.

Surviving: six children, Yasmin Walters, Pamela Mann, Brayden Bridges, D’Asia Bridges, Kaylee Bridges and Corey Mann Jr.; parents, Charles and Johnnie Mann of Bunn; brothers, Charles Mann Jr. of Zebulon and William Jevel Mann (N’Ner) of Bunn; sister, Syreeta Blalock (Haywood) of Bunn; grandparents, Annie B. Harris of Louisburg and Johnnie Mae Mann of Bunn.

I worked with you many years ago at Nomaco.Charles (Sinsai)also taught my son Karate.I am SO very sorry to hear of Lil Corey leaving us.You are wonderful parents and I wish I could ease your pain.Please contact me,if you need anything.This is just unbelievable!My heart is saddened by such a loss!
