BAYARD L. BRAGG
FRANKLINTON - Bayard Lamar Bragg, 87, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Life Care Hospital in Rocky Mount. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Aug. 1, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Carolyn H. Burrus officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Affectionately known as “Bro,” he was born in Granville County to the late Bayard L. Bragg Sr. and Norma Moore Bragg. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

Surviving: his wife, Ann B. Bragg, of Franklinton; daughter, Lu Ann Thompson of Franklinton; stepsons, Van Reynolds of Apex and Jim Reynolds of Louisburg; and two grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Franklin Funeral Service.
