ADELE B. ARNOLD
LOUISBURG – Adele Barnette Arnold, 85, died Tuesday night, July 29, 2008. Funeral services were at 2 p.m Friday at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Entombment followed in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum, Zebulon.

She was born in Franklin County, daughter of the late Jasper Lee Barnette and Beatrice Rogers Barnette.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Baker Arnold; her brothers and sister, Jack Louis Barnette, Varina Ann B. Williams and Reginald Barnette.

She is survived by her children, Dale A. Strickland (Jim) of Durham and John Ted Arnold (Brenda) of Louisburg; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sisters, Ila B. Medlin (Hoyt) of Bunn, Voncile B. Strickland (Bruce) of Youngsville; brother, Ben L. Barnette (Cornelia) of Franklinton; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church Building Fund, 1581 Bethlehem Church Road, Youngsville, NC 27596.
