FRANCES W. MACLAGA WIGGINS
WILSON - Frances Winborne Maclaga Wiggins, age 84, died Friday August 15, 2008. The daughter of the late Henry Winborne and Mamie Jones Winborne, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, John Maclaga and Robert Wiggins, and a son, Michael Maclaga.

She is survived by daughters, Mary Ann Woodlief and husband, Glenn, of Louisburg and Therese Pierce and husband, Ralph Jr., of Wilson; son, Jan Maclaga and wife, Lynne, of Greenville; stepdaughters, Jean Teachey and husband, Linwood, of Kinston and Joyce Grunenberger of Florida; stepsons, Robert Lee Wiggins Jr. and wife, Deborah, of Arkansas, George Wiggins and wife, Diane, of Florida; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Monday August 18, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Tuesday August 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Luke Smith officiating. Burial followed at Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson, NC.
