LUCILLE H. MANSON
FRANKLINTON - Lucille Helen Manson, 86, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008 at Warren Hills Nursing Center, Warrenton. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Sept. 16, at First Baptist Church in Franklinton, with the Rev. Andre Johnson officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Franklinton.

She was born to the late John Wesley and Ida Plummer Mangum. She was a nurse’s assistant at John Hopkins and Mercy Hospitals in Baltimore until her retirement.

She was married to the late Charles Manson. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, seven brothers; and two great-grandchildren.

Surviving: seven children, Barbara Turner of Henderson, Deborah Gilmore of Ocean, Calif., Patricia Gilmore of Baton Rouge, La., Charles Manson (Jerlene) and André Gilmore (Brandy), all of Brenham, Tex., Marvin and Billy Manson, both of New York, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
