HAROLD FLOYD SIMPSON
Harold Floyd Simpson, born April 1, 1923 in Union County, North Carolina, passed away quietly in his home in Missouri City, Texas on Wednesday morning, November 26, 2008, in the presence of his loving family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-six years, Lucy Perkinson Simpson; his daughter, Joy Diane Simpson Tesh and her husband, his best friend and son-in-law, Don Tesh; his granddaughter, Lesley Elizabeth Tesh and her daughter, his first great-grandchild, Hannah Dare McElyea; his grandson, Steven Scott Tesh; his granddaughter, Susanna Dare Tesh Johnston with her husband Jeff Johnston and their beloved children, his great-grandchildren, Madeleine Ray Johnston and Max Kennedy Johnston; his sister, Murline Simpson Wyatt of Kannapolis, North Carolina and her husband, Harold Wyatt; his niece, Karen Wyatt Hyner and her children Paige, Catherine and Rivka; and his nephew, David Harold Wyatt and his wife, Jody, all of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Floyd and Mattie Simpson, of Union County, North Carolina.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from four until six o’clock in the evening on Saturday, November 29 at The Settegast – Kopfc Co. at Sugar Creek. The funeral service will be conducted at three o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, November 30 in the Morrow Chapel at The Settegast – Kopfc Co. at Sugar Creek. A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at Houston National Cemetery on Monday morning, December 1.
