RALEIGH - Jesse Wilton “J.W.” Watkins, 76, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008 at Rex Healthcare. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 17) at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, with Dr. Albert Wright officiating. Burial will be at Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church cemetery, 3329 Forestville Road, Raleigh.
The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 12-2 p.m.
Surviving: wife, Emma Jo Massey Watkins; son, Mike Watkins of Hiddenite; daughter, Susan W. Price (Gary) of Raleigh; sister, Ellen Woodlief (Leland) of Youngsville; and three granddaughters.
