C. FLETCHER WRENN
ZEBULON - Calvin Fletcher Wrenn, 81, died Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 17, 2008. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, Dec. 20) at Social Plains Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Murray Cemetery.

He was born in Robeson County, son of the late Charlie Fletcher Wrenn and Pearl Mae Murray Wrenn. He served as a deacon at Social Plains Baptist Church for many years and was a veteran of the Merchant Marines. He was also founder of Wrenn’s Greenhouse.

Surviving: wife, Rachel Page Wrenn; son, Mitchell Wrenn (Tonya) of Zebulon; sister, Ada Mae Hicks of Zebulon; brothers, Jim Elzie Wrenn of Morehead and Frank Wrenn of Zebulon; and two grandsons.

Arrangements handled by Strickland Funeral Home, Wendell.
