MARY F. GOINS-PULLEY
SAN ANTONIO, TX - Mary F. Henderson Goins-Pulley went to be with the LORD on January 23, 2009 at the age of 68. She was born in Franklinton, North Carolina, and was the youngest of five children born to Junious and Frances Henderson.

At an early age, she joined the Congregational Christian Church in Franklinton, North Carolina, where she remained active as a Sunday School teacher and member of the Usher Board. She later joined St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Columbus, Ohio, and at the time of her death was a member of Grace First Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas.

After her marriage to Clyde W. Pulley in 1957, she accompanied him to several military assignments in Anchorage, Alaska; Washington, D.C., and San Antonio, Texas. After her husband retired from the Air Force in 1974, she took a position with the Shipping Department of Ross Laboratories in Columbus, Ohio for 18 years, from which she retired in 1995.

She was preceded in death by her late husbands, Robert Goins in 1987 and Clyde W. Pulley in 2007.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary A. Pulley of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Lillian Mae McKinney of Franklinton, North Carolina; nephew, William P. Henderson; goddaughter, Tiffany L. Crockett of Arizona; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends in San Antonio, Texas, Franklinton, N. C. and Columbus, Ohio.
