LOUISBURG - Virginia Alline Duke, 89, died Friday, April 24, 2009. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 29) at Cedar Rock Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Corine Branch of Louisburg; sisters, Elder Edgerton, Mattie Strickland, Emma Jean Bullock of Louisburg and Christine Stokes of Maryland; brothers, Columbus Alston of Louisburg, Phillip Alston and Hugh Alston of Perth Amboy, N.J., and Willie Alston of Virginia; and four grandchildren.

Services by William Toney’s Funeral Home, Spring Hope.
