MARGIE A. KEITH
WAKE FOREST - Marjorie “Margie” Alford Keith, 82, died Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 9, 2010 at Britthaven Nursing Center in Louisburg. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest. Entombment will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Wake County, daughter of the late Candice Pearce Alford and Patrick Luther Alford. She was co-founder of the Fork’s Lunchroom and James Keith Barbecue.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Keith.

Surviving: daughter, Karen Winstead (Don); sons, Jimmy Keith (Hope), Patrick Keith (Allison), all of Wake Forest; sister, Evelyn Horton (Buddy) of Wake Forest; brother, Junior Alford (Tap) of Wake Forest; four grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, at Bright Funeral Home and all other times at Keith’s Store.
