LAWRENCE “LARRY” BARRETT
YOUNGSVILLE - Lawrence Joseph “Larry” Barrett, 50, died Sunday, April 11, 2010. A memorial service will be today (Saturday, April 17) at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home with Rev. Gary McNair officiating.

He was born in Staten Island, N.Y. the son of the late Martin Edward Barrett. He was a milling machine operator and a former Wake Forest firefighter.

Surviving: brothers, Michael  Barrett of Reston, Va. and Edward Barrett (Stephanie) of Youngsville; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the North Carolina Fallen Firefighters Foundation, 2501 Blue Ridge Road, suite 250, Raleigh, NC 27607 in memory of Lawrence “Larry” Barrett.

The family will receive friends following the service at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.
